Arrival on Mystery
I arrived in Mystery village late one evening. The pale moon shone on the cobblestones and the streetlamps gave a cheery yellow glow reflected in the window panes of the cluster of little shops that lined the village street.
I peered into the window of the nearest establishment. The Olde Curiosity Shoppe. A bright copper kettle sat in the corner on top of a dresser, the dim shapes of a jack in the box, a candlestick, chairs and tables, old maps all tumbled in together like a stack of cards that had been scattered. " What a quaint shop" I thought and decided to return on the morrow to explore it further
